The "national" club for AKC German Shepherds in the German Shepherd Dog Club of America , and that club is no friend to the GSD, believe me. This club has fostered the decrease of GSD's with any type of working ability and dumped on us a slope backed bag of nerves that can only run around in a circle. Honestly, if you want to be around people that actucally care what a GSD is suppose to be like, join SchH USA. As far a local clubs, you'd find the best group of people to be with by seeking out an Obedience training club or an Agility club. Abi and her parents don't really have sloped backs, they are more straight.
