I was one of the stupid people who bought a dog from James Albers (multiple kennel names). I have never received the papers on my dog.
Now that I'm over my pride being damaged by being duped, I'm ready to try and figure out if my dog really has the parents I think he does (or I was told he did) and find those dogs and try to get my dog registered.
I am hoping with the help of the people on this forum that I can track down at least the dam or sire of my dog...
So - here is the information that I have (and I've started my internet searches and emails out to breeders as well)...
Hello Jennifer I am sorry to hear about all of this stuff about James. I actually own one of his dogs as well. I did not buy him from James but from a family that could no longer take care of him. After reading all the stuff on the rip off reports I often wonder if my male is from the litter the people I bought him from told me he was from. I am lucky in one thing and that he is an awesome GSD that I compete in PSA with. He does have a floppy ear though.
Anyway I just wanted to say I am sorry that you might not be able to register your dog. Good luck in your searches.
Don't get me wrong my dog is awesome. He's got excellent drive, great nerves, a good nose and learns very quickly. I could have it MUCH worse.
I just want to find out the 'truth'. I almost feel like a kid that just found out they were adopted.
