Welcome to the board. This discussion group and its archives have proven to me to be an invaluable resource and hope it proves the same for you.
The pictures of that pup nestled in the seat of the car are, let's say, very cute. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Actually, all of them are.
Very Very good looking dog. I can see why you love her so.
By the way, the director of our humane society is named Misha. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Russian?
Thank you Michele. Yeah, the pics of her in the truck are cute. Those were taken during our road trip from Alabama to Hays, Kansas. She was two months old and she did great. As far as the name goes, I did a Google search for female German names. Misha was the one I liked best.
I checked out that Alabama K-9. She's appears to have a lot of dogs and pups. Just glanced through, but there's an adult male, 15 mos for sale. "Harley". Did you happen to meet him when you were there?
I never saw Harley. I've actually never been to Alabama K9. Misha came from the North Georgia K9 half of the kennel, and that's where I got her. I did get to see Kanto vom Firecatcher (Misha's daddy) and Zidane vom Haus Sevens - both are beautiful dogs IMO. I'm sure someone in here who is "more in the know" about bloodlines could tell you more than I can, but being a Zidane puppy, I think Harley has a better than average chance of being a really nice dog.
Let me add too that I have been very pleased with the "service" I've received from Marlene Wiggins (Alabama K9) and Karen Lemming (North Georgia K9). Both have been very courteous and professional, both before and after "the sale".
