Dozens of bales of marijuana, with a street value of about $2 million, were found Sunday morning in a Southside Tucson home. It happened on the 500 block of West Tiger Shark. Tucson Police Officer Dallas Wilson says, "It was 220 bails, approximately 4,000 pounds." Wilson says the drugs have a street value of about $2 million. Police officers responded to a family fight at around 1:20 a.m. "When they got in the area, you could smell the raw odor of raw marijuana."
So, officers then used a canine to determine which house it was coming from. The home, is just down the road from Mission Manor Park.
Nice to know they caught a big dealer. The situation around here with high school students is pretty bad. I`ve never touched the crud myself but I know what it smells like just from walking past our bathrooms. Arizona being right on the border doesn`t help either.
I have an idea.....lets get into a domestic while there is 2 tons of Gonja in the house. Makes you wonder if the whole neighborhood is dirty since no-one called police about the funny smell.
Not to mention.. have you ever driven through a town with a Pulp and Paper Mill? Those things wreak for miles but ask the residents, "How can you live with that smell?" and they will usually say to you, "What smell?"
It is possible that this was right under their noses and they didn't even know!
