I have an 8 week old pitbull puppy, I got a week ago from a breeder. The first 3 days he was just fine and eating well and by the 4th day he refused to eat his dog food (PuppyChow). He only wanted to eat what my family was eating at the dinner table. He ate a little bit of his dog food but never finished it (even though I gave him a little bit less than 1/2 cup). I then noticed that he began to have diahrea w/ a little bit of blood in it. Since then he's been very depressed and only sleeps the whole day, he doesn't even play. Today he didn't eat anything at all. He doesn't want to eat anything, he just sniffs his food and goes back to sleep. What should I do, my family's worried about him? I'm taking to the vet this friday but I need some answers on what's wrong with him now. Thanks.
This board is not the place to diagnose illnesses in dogs, and a puppy that won't eat and has bloody stools could be in big trouble. Get this puppy to the vet right away. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
