I have a 9 month Fila Brasileiro, and he STINKS, we're bathing him probably about once every two weeks with a REALLY REALLY mild shampoo, and the first few days he's ok, but he gets really stinky really fast. We're feeding him Nutro large breed puppy, plus either some chicken, beef or chicken livers (all cooked). We live in College Station Texas, so it's pretty hot this time of the year, not sure if that has something to do. Any ideas?
switch to a raw diet. no more stinky breath, ear infections, greasy coat, impacted anal glands, all of which can cause a dog to smell even if he is bathed a lot.
you are bathing him too often and risking disrupting the pH of his skin, which will just cause more problems.
stop feeding grain based foods and feed raw, meaty bones. try it for just two months and see if you don't see a big difference. there are lots of good threads on this discussion board about how to get started.

What kind of smell? Yeasty? What?
Is he also itchy, or have any other kind of skin problems?
You might want to check his yard and see that he hasn`t found anything wonderful to roll in. Probaly not it but something to check.
IT's WET DOG SMELL!!! WHen does your dog have time to dry if you bathe him that frequently?
Seriously though. My dog, in Feb. had some body odor that I had been chalking up to him needing a bath. However, he was diagnosed with kidney disease in March. Hindsight speaking, I believe that smell was his sickness.
Blood tests reveal a lot. More than I truly cared to know, but am so very glad I caught his disease early. He is in treatment (homeopathic, and I have made some diet changes) and the smell is gone. He actually smells good...unless of course he is wet, and then it is just that wet dog smell!!!
