My pup started limping Friday into Saturday. I'm not sure how she got injured, the only things that has occured was a friend was playing with her on friday in the house and she had tripped over a lose brick in my yard. I keep calling vets and an animal hospital here and no one wants to take her to get checked. When I sqeeze her paw and arm she doesn't yelp or act in pain, I checked her pads and see nothing in them. When she walks she limps and when she sits down she holds her paw up. What should I do?

What??
I don't understand. What do you mean "no one wants to check her"?
My vet won't take her because she has never been seen by them and said to take her to our vet hospital and our vet hospital said they don't have a orthopedic appt. open for another month and they said most likely emergency won't take her. I just don't get it. I'm going to call another vet hospital outside our city. I never heard of such a thing before in my life, I know they are busy because of the holiday but actually turning away an injured animal is just wrong.

Now, this might sound silly, but is it possible that he might've hurt his shoulder, or maybe slightly pulled a muscle up there? That happend to my other dog, he was limping after jumping over a log one day. I tried to find the area on his paw that was sore and got absolutely no reaction, brought him to the vet, he felt up his whole leg and when he got to Taz's shoulder he got a reaction. It didn't explain to me why when he sat he held his foot up, vet said it might've took some of the strain off the sore shoulder by putting all his weight on the opposite side. Maybe feel around up there and see if you get any reaction.
That's what I was thinking, but even when I touch her shoulder she is okay with it. She does lean on her shoulder when she lays down (it looks very ackward but it must help with her pain). She still jumps like a goof ball if someone walks in our house (unannounced), so I grab her and put her in her crate so she doesn't injure herself anymore.

I'd call back the primary and explain what the hospital said and ask for the next step...... and not hang up until I had the next step in the form of an appointment, or a referral to be picked up today. Someone has seen the dog, right? That vet can see her again and refer you, if necessary, right?
I guess I'm missing something.

Her primary Dr was at the SPCA, but they don't answer their phone (you leave a voice mail and they get back to you when they feel like it). She hasn't been seen by my normal vet yet, I took her to the SPCA for vaccinations, a general checkup and microchipping because it was cheaper there. I'm just going to find another Dr that will take her in my area, no one seems to be answering calls today
