IMO, This was a fantastically BAD idea for all involved. I think the trainer should have known better and the owner should have had ALOT more control over her dogs, either through obedience or securing them with a lead.
*edit: I do give the trainer credit for having the presence of mind to break things up immediately.*
Just my opinion.
I have pit bulls and I would not let my dogs do that for someone else to show off their dogs. I can totally see a fight out of frustration between the to pits. This person is also contributing to a possible fence fight. Disappointing.
Yes the brown and white pit bulldog got loose. But not so suddenly that neither the trainer or the owner *could* have prevented it from happening. The dog tried to jump the fence two times before it made it over on the third try. How come the trainer didn't stop the session at that point? Why didn't the owner do more than clap her hands behind her dog when it was trying to jump the fence?
