just wanted to know if anyone else out there with dobermans, do any of your dobermans stalk other dogs or fellow puppies just asking because i just got 2 new dobi pups imports from russia and when i have them lose in the house or the yard they always stalking eachother its so funny even stalk head on to eachother and when i walk them they stalk birds squarrels and other dogs there working bloodline and i plan on working and titlein' them also there 4 month old now i wanted to know if its normal becasue ive never really seen dobie do that and will they grow out of it?
Earnesto, I have never owned a dobie but, most all of the puppies I have ever owned have done this in varying degrees....adults stalk also.....prey behavior. It is normal dog behavior, in the wild they would have to get really good at this to be able to survive. Otherwise, they would starve.
