I have to boast about my dog. So many of the posts here are about problems, I thought I'd change it up a little.
Thanks to this board and Ed's video's I don't have any issues with Remi. He's an AWESOME dog.
We rescued a litter of puppies that are currently 6 weeks old and he does great helping us take care of them (is gentle and calm allowing them to climb all over him and he guides them around making sure they don't get in trouble).
This morning he went pig hunting with us and was a great "help" after we got the pig he bayed that thing until he realized it was already dead.
He will recall even when in heavy prey drive (like when we're having him help us herd the goats). Has excellent obedience on and off leash, and has never shown any sign of aggression towards other animals or kids.
Anyway - he's a great very well rounded dog and I can't take all the credit. Thanks to everyone here for all the support and advice through his puppy year.
I'm sure we'll have more obstacles since he's only 18 months old now - but I know that there is a great place to come for good solid advice.
Congratulations to you and Remi. You both deserve a lot of credit for all your hard work. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
What a great guy! Like it when people boast about their dogs. Dogs are wonderful. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
