thanks I am trying to read everything I can get my hands on. As well as work with the dogs constantly, I must say the marker training seems to work quicker than the regular sit good dog treat. Thanks to all
i feed my pups together and cloe to each other...from different bowls and dont have any problems..if the 1 moves to the others bowl they just switch ..never have a problem with feeding together..
I have 3 dogs 2 males 1 female, and i can have all 3 in the same room as long as I am in the room and my leadership stands very firm ,I have no problem but I do not have toys or bones on the ground to start any fights. My young male is very posessive over his tug , so I know the things to have in their presence and things to take out.If my oldest male starts to eye my youngest male I step in and reaffirm my leadership I don't have to touch him simply my body language will be enough for him to leave and go lay in another spot. But when I leave the house they are all but one running loose.I think you have to seperate and let both know that YOU are at the top of the leadership in your house hold..good luck, I love hounds..

Yusrie, unless you are definitely the pack leader and a strong one at that, this is going to cause problems sooner or later. When I had 2 dogs, I fed them in the same room but not close to each other and definitely no bowl surfing. It's best to not even take a chance.
