Does anyone have the link to the photos of the (I believe it was a) Mastiff hovering over the infant baby pictures that were on the leerburg site a couple few months back?
I just received an email with those same pictures and it was a little ditty story thing (supposed to be *cute* titled "Important Instructions for All Dogs"
I'd like to send back the link to why this *isn't* cute, but don't recall where on the leerburg site those photos/information are...I will keep looking too...
For some odd reason, when I posted that question, I pictured your files with my answer!
I forwarded this link on and hopefully will squelch the STupid email that's going around. Just a perfect example of pet owners who will never take the time to truly learn about dogs and dog behaviour, because the dogs are so, well, so CUTE. Geez.
I too did not find the pictures the least bit cute. They wouldn't have been bad if an older child (say 11 or 12 at least) or adult had been holding the baby and sitting with the dog. Some people just ask for a disaster to happen.
