MY GSD IS 5 MONTHS OLD AND ONE OF HER EARS JUST WON'T STAND UP. SOMETIMES WHEN SHE IS TRYING TO CHASE ONE OF THE DUCKS IN OUR LAKE OR ANOTHER ANIMAL OUTSIDE IT WILL GO UP BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT STAYS FLOPPY. IS THAT NORMAL? WILL IT GO UP AND STAY UP?

YES, IT'S NORMAL.
TYPING IN ALL CAPS -- not so much. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
There is plenty of info on this site concerning floppy ears. Just do a search and you will see plenty of replies to previous posts. Your puppy is teething and he could use a vitamin with calcium in it.
Was worrieed about my boy at that age but they turned out great with no help. Never not a concern until after about eight months I think. I thought I had a soft eared, bad toothed, one nutted dog but all turned out good. The typing in all caps here is not liked

I don't know if your were trying to make me burst out laughing, but you sure did a great job! <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
P.S. I think typing in caps is used to indicate shouting in most of cyberspace........
I didn't know about typing in CAPS on a forum...I am not a very big typer...sorry...I just joined the forum and unfortunately don't belong to any others. My boyfriend told me joining a forum would be good so I could learn more and get opinions. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. Funny comment by the way.

2. You didn't, I feel sure; I was kiddin' with you and letting you know that caps are the way a poster communicates shouting on the 'net;
3. That *was* funny......... <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I was up in the air about Romeo's ears as well, but now they're both perfectly erect and he'll be 5 months in a week. His ears just a couple weeks ago were everywhere .. =0) They'll go up. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
