Be careful what you wish for.... <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
On another board that I'm on, a gal trained her dog to retrieve cans of pop from the fridge. One day she mentions something about getting a pop from the fridge shortly before taking a nap. She awoke to find a few cans of pop and a couple pies (yup, pies!) from the fridge, on the bed next to her!!
I also taught it out of a cooler....for the same reason. I don't really want him in my refrigerator, he loves food too much <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
and I forgot, he will also bring a 1/2 full beer sitting on the coffee table or out of an inattentive friend's hand. It looks like a really cool trick until you actually train it. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
It does help to have a dog with genetic beer drive! Like father like son. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
