Hello,
I think I have finally figured out a method to teach my dog how to tug with a toy. She is approx 6 year old gsd mix, and initially not very interested in toys. I wanted to teach her to "fetch" and tug as another method of play. What seemed to work was putting some strong smelling meat in an old sock, I tied some animal pelt also to the sock. I tied a sting to the whole thing, and she really got chasing and tugging. She was pretty stong too! This was a first, so I was pretty excited for the break through!
My question is...how, eventually will I get carry over, without having to use salami/corned beef in a sock!? <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
