These people need to be told that no, they don't want a GSD, they want a golden. I think the only good solution is to pull the GSD out of the AKC. As if that would ever happen!! The breed needs to be firmly separated. The Germans should heavily campaign for the ditching of the American show shepherd altogether and they should start out by not recognizing a dog of this type as a GSD. I don't know how much clout the FCI has with AKC, but they should do whatever they can too.
On a side note, you funny people voting the dog in the photo as an American line need to know that April Fool's is several months past or several months ahead, but definitely not now. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> If you seriously thought this was an American showline GSD, please do not opine on subjects you have no clue about as that spreads misinformation.
