It's true, they aren't usually allowed on furniture. We make an exception for the futon in the basement because nobody uses it and our floors are incredibly cold. They're pretty good about distinguishing between beds because the others aren't low to the ground like the futon is. <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I think dogs seem to easily distinguish which beds are OK and which are not. My dog is allowed on my sons' beds and the guest bed (no worries, I change all linens if company is coming <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> ) but he is not allowed on my bed and I never have a problem with him understanding this. Hey, maybe I'm just an awesome trainer <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> !
