My rescue dobie is a really happy dog, gas problems gone, good food, exercise walks, play time with us and the pup, she is great with house manners and we work with basic commands.
She has turned out to be a great companion dog. One thing about her that is different from every other dog I've had is she sleeps extreamly deep. Before he left us our male Staff would need to be touched occaisionally to wake him but he couldn't hear anymore. No problem with the dobies hearing as if you call her she will get up and come immediately. If you go to her when asleep and pet her she will softly moan and actually audibly breath deeper and its like she is actually going into a deeper sleep.
Actually I don't think I have any problem just one contented dog that has had a really rough life prior to arriving at out home. In the off chance that there is something I've never heard of I'll ask the question. Is there any weird sleeping disorder with dogs that I've never heard of?

If you google search canine narcolepsy, I know I have read studies (very interesting studies) about narcolepsy in dogs and it's various levels. That is the only thing I've ever seen on anything related to sleeping disorders in dogs.
