Hey thanks again everyone, I feed her the puppy formula recipe that i found off of this site (which she loves by the way) every 4hrs, I feed her 3oz sometimes alittle less sometimes alittle more. She seems to be doing great and she loves it, she is already at 3lbs and she weighed in just barely over 2 1/2 when I got her about 5days agao!!! Anywho thanks again for all of the help
Well my puppy is still doing great! She is weighing in at 3lbs 4oz!! I have had her alittle over a week now and she looks alot better than she did when I got her, considerng she weighs almost a full pound than she did when I got her I guess I'm not doin to bad, lol. I have still tried contacting the breeder to see how her other ones where doing but no answer. Does anyone know when it would be okay to take her outside? she is just now 4wks and 1day old and it gets really cold here right now (i am in OK) I was afraid of taking her out and getting her cold and making her sick? Anywho also do you know if dogs sleep through the night without eating at this young of age? Also I havent gotten any raw hamburger meat yet but I am going today and I did get her to eat a few bites of pedigree puppy warmed up and mixed with alittle bit of the puppy formula. I am also attaching a pic of the puppy, I took it off of my phone so it isnt that great, I will try to borrow a camera and get some better ones. Thanks again for everyones help! Okay so I dont know how to add a pic so if anyone could help me with this? LOL
It sounds to me that the "breeder" had other intentions letting the pups go so early. It's possible that she had planned another breeding for the female. The lady sounds like a byb to me. I would keep doing what you're doing. After this, you might want to consider who you get your next dog from, the lady sounds like she doesn't even care. Good to hear the pup is doing good!
