Hi Trond!
Great, I think you'll get your titles no prob, how is she in her bite work? What do you think is your strongest point of training with her?
Like with my male ,I have great obedience, great tracking ,my jumps look great except when he brings back the dumbell,he shuves the dumbell in to me and then sits, and during bite works ,he gets dirty a bit, which I am working on right now.
I think I will be either passing barely or not passing my SchutzI ,at this point, we have alot to do, and he is a bit hectic. Our trial isin March, we'll see!
Good luck to you!
Well
Her bite work looks nice these day`s i think my biggest "problem" is control work .
I want her more in control in transport . in the rest of the bite work she is very energetic and bites hard and full so this is no problem. .
The problem is more that she wants to go for the bite before i think its ok .
pend ling in the back transport a bit to mutch.
I think she got what i takes to go all the way .
My strongest point in training with her is that when she or i do some thing wrong in training its not too difficult to erase the errors and make them right. if you understand.
I do all training without any Compulsion . no prong/E-collar.
So things take a bit more time to get in too top 10.
The only part I'm thinking about going inn and make more pressure is inn retrieving. she have a tendens too touch the dumbbell before picking it up.
But i think i can make it better with higher drive , so she gets it up quick.
I 6think we got great Tracking Good obedience and good bite work.
Well i have said it before i lay a lot off pressure on me and myself working only for 95+ point`s inn all phases.
This is because i really want too go out inn the world and compete with the best (GOOD LUCK) HE HE
I Think you will do a great SCH I just take time and work the problem area so the bits and pieces fall inn place.
I hope you can post some video of your dog it would be interesting too see that.
Werry nice dogs on the picture by the way
Regards
Trond
Oh I think yuo can go far with your dog ,for sure.
I am with you on the obedience during bite work, he just cant focus sometimes he wants that bite so bad that, when I remind him to fuss while the helper is on the field he will fuss with his head turned between his body and my leg, so annoying!
I don't use an e-collar unless I am working on the out off the sleeve but that is it as far as training, but never for obedience. I put on my e-collar when I let my male yaggo loose a tthe park just in case a straigh dog was to come up on us.Yaggo is a big boy but I don't want him to think he needs to protect me from another dog I rather take care of it myself, no scratches on my boy ! Plus most straigh dogs are othe rpeoples pets, simply lost, I know they won't bite me but being nozy.
Well when is your trial?
Our is officially march 18th.
ok as i said we got our SCHI this weekend.
decided too let her take one trial only as i have been extremly hot her ,
her results was werry good i think 285.-
Tracking 98 p obedience 91 p protection 96 p
and this for a judge that is known not to let points come easy.
it only my mistakes inn the protection part so all lost points on handler errors
