Shipping depends on weight - $9.00 for 18 lbs for two day delivery includes 3lbs of dry ice - they have discretion to add more ice for $2.00. Reasonable?
Depends on you!
I'd probably go for that for some variety to have in the freezer. I'd like to feed some elk and bison.
Well my coonie cat is just under 20 lbs. We got him exactly one month after we got our dog and the two of them were raised together. They shared food many times. Their relationship was fun to watch - dog would try to put cat's head in his mouth - cat would swat at the dog when he walked by -cat would growl at dog,dog would wag his tail and try to lick his face. When Scout died, the cat (who never laid in the dog's spot before) spent most of his time on his spot on the couch. Should be interesting when we bring home a new furry friend. They will be kept seperate for a while and just be able to look without touching each other.
I love your cat & dog story,so sweet, and funny too. We wanted our dogs to be friendly with the cats, we rescued our cats at a very young age (9 weeks)but they never wanted to hang with the dogs and yet the dogs were so mellow around them and really letting them do what they wanted but the cats as they grew up always ran from the dogs and so the dogs would chase them and if cornered the dogs really were puzzled on what to do but loved the chase game. They chase the cats everytime the cats run.My husband & I always say to one another how much we wish they would all hang out and play and sleep near one another but I don't think it will ever see it .I am sure your cat will enjoy his new friend when he gets there .Good luck.
By the way my cats did eat the shrimp and inhaled it ,I had to let them know it was a treat and not to expect it every night
Its nice to treat the kitties too! Will let you know how puppy gets along with Smokey the cat. Leaving tomorrow for the pick-up!! Am bringing Honest Kitchen recipe found on site - will bake it tonight and then can introduce it to puppy on way home.
