I recently did my first AI breeding using chilled semen. I got real lucky and found a really good vet to do this for me. I explained to him that I had never done this before. He explained to me in great detail each step. When there was a choice to be made, for example, to do frozen or chilled semen he explained the pros and cons of both ways so I could make an informed decision. Another example of a choice that had to be made was to do the insemination vaginaly or surgically, again he educated me on both methods so I could chose the best option for me. On Jan 2 the breeding was confirmed by ultrasound. So for anyone looking for a reproduction vet in the St. Louis area I highly recommend this guy. Here is his info

I would also like to thank Will Rambeau for allowing me to use his dog Fetz as stud. Will has been a pleasure to work with.
