Well we made it back to Florida from WV with our beautiful puppy Ranger. He has been absolutely perfect so far. We stopped one night in Virginia to stay with my brother and next day we were in Georgia for a stop over before coming home. Not only did he meet and greet everyone with enthusiasm but he played too (and with quite a pirhana-like bite )BUT we did not have one accident in anyone's house or in our car on the way home. He stayed in the back with my boys until he had to go potty and then he came up to the front seat and kept whining and trying to grab my sleeves. SInce we have been home he has gone everytime we take him out - he gets a "good outside" and comes for praise and attention from me.
I also started him immediately on raw and he LOVES it!! You should have seen him go after those chicken wings tonight! He kept trying and trying and just chewed his little heart out. We are so very happy with him and I will be posting pictures soon. Thanks to everyone who has given me their opinions on RAW and helped with a number of questions pre-puppy. He tugs at his towel with such determination and loves to grab at feet and ankles. I can't wait to see how he develops every day. I'm sure now that he's actually here I'll have dozens of questions. Meanwhile, I'm going back to my little chomper and play!!

Congrats! Nice you made it back safely, enjoy your pup cause they are like children they grow fast and push every envelope!
I'm glad your raw feeding went well and he is enjoying it, I bet he's happy not to be fed kibbles
I look forward to see pictures!

I'm right there with ya, we just brought our's home last week and are so pleased too. I know the love and joy and pride that you are feeling..isn't it awesome! How old is your pup kat?
He's seven and a half weeks and is VERY fiesty! I was a little worried about how he would adapt to so much change so quickly but he is quite the little trooper. Nothing seems to fluster him and he is cautious but not scared. Robin, good luck with your little guy!
Marc, He's got some German import on his sire side and some with Sch II and III's but I don't think he's got anyone well-known in his lineage. If anyone could tell me where I could research lines myself I would be grateful. Thanks for the good wishes - can't wait for you to see my boy.
