If any one has ever had this problem any views or opinions would be helpful.
We recently noticed that our cat was iching alot and then noticed a flea on his face. Right away we put revolution on him as well as on the dog. Though it is in the middle of winter and the only way ( we have thought about it alot) they could have gotten them is from the house (we just moved in) as we know the previous owners had pets. We steam cleaned the carpets but the cat and dog have been in the bed! we have a futon and it is immpossible to get the flea spray all the way through seeing as how it is so thick. we sprayed to carpets with flea and tick spray after steam cleaning it, but we dont know if that will do it... Is there any other way we can get rid of the fleas????
Also does revolution kill the eggs as well as the fleas?
I never had good luck with revolution, I like Frontline Plus to rid the house and animals of fleas. Before when we had an infestation we also used Mycodex home spray. I don't think steam cleaning will kill the fleas or the eggs. With the bedding you can just put them on high heat in a dryer to kill anything living in them. Hope this helps.
