Enhance (Arkat) Here are the first ingredients in "Large Breed Adult" Enhance (fpr example): Chicken By-Product Meal, Brewers Rice, Rice Flour, Ground Corn, Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols, a natural source of Vitamin E), Beet Pulp .................................... There isn't even one meat in the first six ingredients -- just by-products. Brewers rice is waste from alcoholic beverage production. Three grains in the first four ingredients. Not one Enhance formula I saw had real meat -- by-products only. Lots of grain. The best place to start when we want to consider a food is the ingredients list. The ads, the web sites, the brochures ---- meaningless if the ingredients show the opposite of what the advertising says. Cheap grains and by-products. You came to the right place for straight answers!
