So....my darlin little Levi still hasn't dropped his second testicle. We are going on 3 months and 3 weeks. I'm being told that the sooner we get it out of the abdomen the better off for him. Not as much anesthesia, not as much money, not as much stress. What do you guys think about this?? Should I just get it done or am I going to have a dog with a big body and a little bitty head?

Your pup is only 3 months so there is still time for the testicle to drop. Is your vet suggesting surgery now? If so, I'm wondering why. Most vets won't neuter or spay until 5-6 months at the earliest and I would think most would want to give that testicle time to drop on its own.
If you do wait and it doesn't drop, it isn't that big a deal to remove it out of the abdomen, provided your vet isn't brand new to surgery. The incision will be a little longer than normal and antibiotics will probably be prescribed.
Yes, the older and heavier your dog is, the more you will pay for the surgery. And yes, this kind of surgery takes a little longer than a simple neuter so you may pay a little more for anesthesia. However, If you weren't planning on neutering until later you would be paying a higher fee anyway.
Yes ,he has plenty of times. My King Charles did not drop his until a few weeks ago he is now 6 months of age.Don't rush to anything , be patient it will happen..
I think I read in another post that if it hasn't dropped by 2 years then to neuter because the retained testicle could cause or develop cancer. It's not rare for a dog to not descend before 6 months. I would not get him the surgery...Time will tell what going to happen.
Oh yeah, great subject line...lol. Where is it??!!
