My boyfriend took our 11 week old golden retriever out this morning to go potty (I had already left for work) and he said he saw worms in her feces. I took her out about an hour ago and didn't notice anything, but if it is worms, is it okay to wait until tomorrow? She's got a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon anyway for her parvo and distemper shots, so I just want to make sure she'll be okay until the vet can get a stool sample then.
Worms are not an emergency so she'll be fine until her appointment tomorrow. She's probably had them for a couple of weeks anyways (yuck!) Describe to the vet what you saw in her stool tomorrow. Good luck with your new puppy!

I would get a sample in the morning and take it with me.
The vet can "go fishing," but it's much easier for you to bring a sample.
