I'd love to read it, Ed, but the sad fact is that you'd probably be preaching to the choir with that article. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but if more pit bull owners read your site and articles to begin with, there wouldn't be so many of these sad Pit stories in the first place.

Under a law like that, my pup would have been government mandated to be put to sleep if someone reported the wounds on my hand a few months ago. They would have had to find me first.
The idiocy is almost more than I can stomach. It's always about controlling people, power and control - by idiots who have no right to be legislating, put there by idiot voters who do no research.

And from the wording, it seems that all it takes is someone's word that your dog "bit" them. Is it just someone's word against yours? Can you imagine the possibilities for people with grudges against a dog owner, or dog-hating neighbors who are sick of the occassional barking? You'd like to think people wouldn't do that...but some people would, for sure.
And what about very young dogs and normal playful nipping? You'd hope they'd have some sort of exception for young dogs, but giving how stupid the rest of the bill is...who knows?
