I know this will just start another flurry of debate, but this was an excellent article. In it a vet questions the validity of yearly vaccinations quoting studies on immunity, etc. He also states that should go back to being strictly a medical procedure and not an economic procedure. This article will get you thinking.
However, until such time as the law is changed to reflect growing veterinary medical concerns, yearly vaccination (especially rabies) will be required.
I would rather skip vaccinating, especially as my dog is getting older, but boarding kennels and training facilities require them.
Anyways, check out this article. Very informative. There is a part 2 as well. Check for the link on the main article. http://www.thedapperdog.com/vacc1.html
