From what some fearmongers say, I guess we should all be eating "people chow" since we are obviously too stupid to feed ourselves properly much less our dogs. *rolls eyes*
Vicki - the cost of a raw diet can vary a great deal (even for the same amount of food) depending on your luck, creativity and how much effort you put into looking for suppliers
When I started a raw diet I was spending about $2 to $3 a day to feed both my German shepherds, anywhere from 60 to 90$ a month.
Now I've gotten the cost down to about 20$ a month.
I won't lie to you, it took a lot of work (and obsessing over the matter haha) to find my free and super cheap suppliers but it was well worth it in the end.

Is there no end to the crap we'll import from China? Not only does this pet food recall issue tick me off because the source of the poison came from CHINA (like their quality control is to be trusted ) but countries have no problem making China rich, a COMMUNIST country, by giving them all our commercial business. Since when did free countries start doing business with communist countries, importing billions, maybe trillions of dollars of goods annually.
This whole thing, all of it, makes me sick . We're inviting our own doom. There's no word for the kind of a company's greed that sells out their souls and the soul of their country for a profit.
