getting better still and no more gas last night...upped her raw food intake today to about half of what she usually gets minus the bone and have continued with the probiotics. Her water intake was much less today and she didn't seem so uncomfortable last night sleeping.
As Cindy said in another post, this isn't the place to diagnos an illness, but I am grateful for all of your experiences and suggestions. My vet said it was probably the food change and possibly something she put in her mouth on a walk that my mom didn't see...even a rock with some dirt on it that had a bug in it that she hadn't been exposed to could trigger an upset stomach.

Mike, the pup whose owner was urged to see the vet -- that was different, IMHO.
A puppy with sudden swelling and lethargy..... just not the same as a bout of diarrhea that gets better with a bland diet.
thank you, Connie...it is a relief to see her getting back to normal....I felt so bad for her when she had her accident in the house...she knew she wasn't suppossed to go in the house but couldn't help it...her eyes said everything and she was so ashamed...she thought she'd get in trouble, I'm sure...
I guess I was kind of taking for granted that she'd always be perfect since she's been so healthy and has done so well on raw food. This has made me more appreciative of her being such a great dog to begin with...and made me more dedicated in seeing that I protect her from this kind of thing in the future.
between you, Amber, Sandy, Jenni, Angelique, Cindy, etc...I really feel I've got a great support group for Brenna.
thanks Ed and Cindy for providing such a great place with proven products for all of us out here!
