Thanks all for the info regarding the video, I'll pass on them. As a PB enthusiest I have quite a lot of friends that hunt their dogs against wild hogs. They use different dogs for different functions, they use Cathoula's as bay dogs and AB dogs and Pit Bulls as catch dogs. It is a sport I really don't care for but not one responsible hog dogger would send a lone dog in after a hog, let alone a bear. PBs were originally bred for bull baiting but the dogs were released in PACKS on the bull. And for every PB owner I know that hunts his dogs, or owns dogs out in the areas wear they could encounter a bear, it is their worst nightmare. A PB will attack a bear due to it's function and if cannot out manuver the animal it will die every time. Now die hard PB folks will not say this is courage, they will tell you it is genetics. And for most of the PB owners I know that have lost there dogs to bears they will simply tell you it is tragic.....I don't get this thread
I am closing this thread - Joseph - if you ever post a links like you did (which I removed because the were IGNORANT !!!!) on my web board again they will be your last posts on this board.
