Connie, while we are on the subject of "what not to feed" can you please post that link on the list of what not to feed? I thought I saved it before, but didn't.
Cathi, I can't answer your question specifically, however, I will say that I sometimes wonder if the fact that MoJo ate grapes in his life somehow created the kidney disease which eventually took his life (at 6 years old). ??? Even though the vet said it was genetic, I still scan all the various things it *could* have been...early on in his life, I did not know grapes were toxic to dogs...

Uh-oh. I've been pulverizing whole apples in my veggie glop for about one month. I won't be doing that anymore. Am I slowly killing my dogs? Is it only high doses of apples cores/seeds that I would need to be concerned about. I have a little bit of veggie glop left before I make my next batch. O.K. to use it?
I've read that dogs who were sickened or killed had been eating from a windfall in an orchard.... lots of cores.
Since it's one of those things that store up in the body, I'd stop giving it, but also wouldn't worry about what I had already given.

Thanks for posting that list Connie. I know, not really enough grapes in MoJo's life to warrant the kidney failure as described, but still, I can't help but think??? All those things scientists and vets (and me) don't *really* know. You know???
