Hi Julie this is Julia..lol in Australia too! I have tried many different super premium kibbles ( my pup was a very fussy eater) and the best that I found and have been told also is ....Royal Canin this is very expensive it is $99 for a 15kg bag. My vet recommended Hills Science Diet but I have since found out this is not good at all ( should be for the price! ) I tried so many and she just turned her nose up at them so I finally switched to Nutrience, she is doing fine on this and her coat is so shiny! I feed her this in the morning and then I feed the BARF diet at dinner. I buy the meat and veggies pre made ad it is made here in Melbourne....where in Oz are you? you can email me if you like , for a lunch time snack she has fruit and veggies and she just loves these, wish my kids would eat as healthy as her!,,lol
I found it
I am in the Sydney area (north west) at South Maroota (near wisemans ferry)so i have room for the Horses i seem to collect! But i work in the city for a thoroughbred stud.
Can you tell me how much Nutrience is for what size? I am trying to keep it to as reasonable price as possible, if that is possible!
Hi Julie, Nutrience is $43.50 ( here) for a 7kg bag, it is rather pricy also but I only feed it in the morning ( 1.5 cups ) so it lasts about a month. I was born in Sydney too!..lol and we also have a horse ( well more the size of a dog,a shetland pony...lol ) do they stock Nutrience there?.
I found the nutrience stand at the pet expo yesterday, the price for 20kg is $80!
What ratio would you feed this compared to a cheep dry food, half as much, quarter?
Its funny, the guy could not give me a price list but once he discovered i was registered a price list came out along with samples!
I remember the ol pet expo's where you took a non doggie frend to help carry all the free pet food, i used to feed my one dog for a month after that, not so now, you have to pay around $5 for a "show bag". not fair!
Hi Julie, I feed her 1.5 cups in the morning only, when she was solely on the Nutrience I fed her what the instructions on the bag said. She is only 5 months and as she grows I will up that amount to 2 cups a day, she seems to be in perfect shape ( the vet said ) with this amount and as I said she is also on the BARF diet, I have never seen a dog devour fruit and vegetables like this dog, nothing goes to waste here anymore
