I would probably add this to my library just skimming the link you offered. Like every book I have, there is some things I agree with and some things I don't in each book.
At least he talks about real food, cooked, but real.
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
Just for the records,I have nothing to do with this book.I am asking about it, because I just switch my GSD to raw food and I need every info I can get.I know nothing but Kibble food.If this book is worth the $ 30 I will get it.just I want to know if anybody knows how accurate this book is about the specific diet for GSD.
I don't like to hear about dogs being given cooked foods. That is why he has a long list of vitamins and minerals to give a GSD cause you cook it right out of the meat and vegetables. Not a good idea to let people give that many supplements if you ask me.That is why if you feed kibbles FEED ONLY kibbles no meat added or supplements. When you do that (add to kibbles) you over load your dog with vitamins, minerals, and all other supplements that are already in the Kibbles. When you feed RAW you cannot over load your dog that easily and that is FAR better than any other Diets out there.I think when you ask people to start adding all those supplements into a dogs diet of cooked foods that is a recipe for disaster.JMO When you feed all RAW you don't have to add anything to make it complete, maybe a few supplements IF you choose but you sure don't have a long list to go buy.
