My dog has panuss (sp?). It's an eye disease. I don't want to keep giving her corticosteroids (prednisolone acetate). Has anybody used a different treatment that works? Thanks for the input.
I think it may be in your best interest (as well as your dogs) to get the shots or drops before the disease progresses, I haven't been able to find other alternatives. JMO, but I have never dealt with an animal with this disease.

My 9 year old female GSD has had corneal pannus for over 4 years.
It is a condition that must be managed by the owner but is not curable. I would highly recommend seeing a veterinary opthamologist. I use the cyclosporin drops and she is doing just fine. I answered more about it in a thread here that begins with #109617 (just follow it to end). After reading what I wrote then,
