Elie, Feeding kibble for me has always been more for convenience. Kibble is an easy staple, particularly if you have to have someone else feed your dog if you're on vacation, or if you have to go out and miss one of your dog's meals.
I did a lot of dog food research before I even got my dog, and choosing the right kibble was a difficult decision that resulted from a lot of label reading and food comparison charts, etc. I previously fed Neura, another Old Mother Hubbard kibble, but when I read about Wellness in the Whole Dog Journal I switched. I do know however, that even a premium, human grade quality, highly rated kibble is still somewhat of a processed food and that is why I add home cooked as well as fresh food to my dog's diet. He doesn't seem to mind.

I'm pretty much with Caniche on this one...I feed kibble simply for convenience. I do feed more raw than kibble though.
My dog has thrown up ugly yellow stuff when he has an empty stomach since he was a puppy. I just find it easier to throw a half cup of kibble in his bowl in the mornings when I'm rushed
I have always fed a human grade kibble and it's not his main meal so I feel pretty confident that he's getting the proper nutrition.
I'm feeding kibble for the human's benefit as well, only hopefully the other humans can get over the idea of raw food soon and I can go all raw with Auster <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> . Half and half is not the raw diet I want to feed, but it is better than just plain kibble.
