I have read Eds Q&A re poisoning proofing a working dog against deliberate attempts to kill him. Ive also spoken to Josh about it. It seems that dogs do not extrapolate well from experiences learned in one enviroment to another. So if you teach your dog not to take a bait in the front yeard it dosent mean he wont eat one when down the end of the street. Is this the experience of other handlers? I know stock dogs who recieve a shock off a electric stock fence will rarely, if ever, repeat the same error again on that same place. (I realise this might be a senstive tactical issue to some memebers, if so feel free to email me privatly).
