I think this is pretty cool and doesn't seem stressful to the puppy, just seems like play with a tug? I'm not sure it's entirely fair to compare a Mal like that to GSDs though. In some ways they are apples and oranges. Eich's obedience has always been on par, but he simply does not live to bite like this beast. Provided I consistently went to training for bite work, I still don't think I could have expected his quality of bites at any comparable puppy age. Last I checked, he also had quite the gnarly defensiveness which seemed apparent while quite young. He also did NOT take kindly to corrections from another person. O

Isn't it bad to have a larger dog jumping so much before it's 18 mos old? That's just what I've heard. Is that true of false?
