A lot of the bully breeds and terriers enjoy the spring pole. Just be aware that they are considered dog fighting equiptment in some areas and can get you fined. Just another usless law towards BSL.
The can easily be made using a garage door spring. ;o)
Spring poles a are great exercise tools, but if you want them to be effective and provide a full body work out, the dog should have their feet on the ground. The "flirt" should be just high enough for the dog to have to reach for it. Once the dog grips and pulls the spring the dog should have its hind legs planted solidly on the ground. With four feet planted on the ground different muscles are used.
