See we wondered about Pit, too, because her head is very similar to some of my friends' Pits. She's really a pretty calm girl. She's been laying on her pad for about an hour or so now, just resting. But when she plays she likes to play a little rough, tug on all things...she's destroyed 3 tugs already...scores of headless stuffed toys fill our trashcan She has an incredibly strong grip & at 5 months she's around 40lbs.
She's very protective, too. If she hears something she's do a little growl bark, and then she'll get up and sit herself right in front of my wife until it's "Ok Reagan, good girl." (lots of pets)
Tonight I'll take another picture of her. Thanks guys! I like this forum.
I say JRT and Lab mix 85% sure , by the look of the base, that is a tail that was meant to be long, cropped, born defect, ect..
That is the look of a jack Russell, with a big lab like body.
I am sure her tongue is not blue, i don't see sharpei in that dog
but hey it's all a guess...
OK, I go along with JRT maybe some lab,but she sure does look like she's got some old fashioned "rough", or maybe the smooth collie in her. That firm stop in her face with the long snout and those floppy tulip ears and almond shaped, dark brown eyes sure do say collie to me.
My guess is yellow Labrador/APBT, more specifically, out of an APBT bitch and the idiot owner wanted to dock tails to make them look "tougher" -- and failed miserably.
I must say, my Springer's tail stump makes her look like quite the tough girl!
