Well I think a dog who is "allergic" to EVERY meat is misdiagnosed. Period.
Do you think their is a wild dog, wolf, dingo out there that is a VEGETARIAN?
Some people should let their animals be what they are meant to be and stop changing what nature intended..
As always Connie says it like it is... I always look forward to your posts.
Absolutely!!!
You know, whenever I'm in doubt when it comes to my dogs' health and feeding, I often think "now what would Connie do?"...
You're my hero Connie - you're a walking encyclopedia on all these topics! Don't know how you do it, but your posts are awesome
(Oh and I absolutely agree with you that dogs should be classified as requiring taurine considering the recent research. Maybe if they were fed a quality diet that was a little low in taurine it wouldn't matter so much, but the nutrients in most kibbles are so unnatural, distorted beyond recognition and unavailable to the body that the animals just can't adapt to any deficiency, no matter how minor).
