The crowd ends up less than pleased when the dogs end up losing a tooth or having a cervical fracture - both of which I've seen occur during nonsense like that.

I oked this advertisement. With that said I completely agree that these long bite contests are dangerous events for the dogs. If there is one slight mistake from a helper (and these events are not form novice or mid-level helpers)dogs can be seriously hurt. In fact a bad catch can end the competition career of a good dog.
With that said, there are some top level competitors mentioned in this add so it stands.
