The owner hands the dog off to a stranger - it can be the evaluator, but it can also be an assistant. The owner then leaves the room while the dog remains with the person. Owners can place the dog on a down stay if they want to prior to leaving. The person holding the leash is allowed to talk to the dog and pet the dog, but only intermittently. If the dog fusses too much, the owner will be asked to return. This tends to be the most difficult part of the test for many dogs. They do fantastic obedience, but become upset when left.

I think she did excellent on all the excercises.
