Hello all! I have a question regarding my dog, Bella, and her recent switch to raw.
I have been following the advice of the "Raw Dog Ranch" and starting with just chicken wings. Her first few turds have been quite interesting looking. The first one looked almost like raw chicken, just a little pale in comparison. The second one was most definately a peice of raw chicken about half the size of a golfball along with a bone. Is this normal?

I think I'd add probiotics and also consider that chicken wings have a lot of skin and bone; backs might be better as a basic beginner RMB.

Speaking of undigested poo (wow), This is the reason the rabbit is the creature that disproves "intelligent design" theory. Apparently in order for a rabbit to get the correct amount of nutrients food must go through it's system twice - they eat their own poo!!! http://www.hopperhome.com/rabbit_digestion.htm

Hey everyone! I just wanted to update my last thread about the poo...just cause I know you want to hear about it...
Well, it seems that Bella's digestive system is working better today, as her horrible raw meat turds seem to be gone this morning. She had a nice looking poo this morning, and I am not worried too much anymore about the problem. Thanks for the suggestion for yogert; I will be adding this soon...
