The pictures are beautiful...Thanks for posting them.
The photos of the little girl just blew me away. Her hands are covering her face in the first shot and I thought "Man, that's an unusually small woman". Couldn't believe a child was out there putting the dog through its paces. I'm impressed.
For the record, Alyssa turned 12 last week, just after the competition. She's trained Ex from his BH and when he showed less than his best this trial, she held it together like a trooper and we were all very proud of her. Alyssa is the youngest member of our region and is doing incredible stuff. We look forward to seeing her on the podium for many years to come.
That is amazing! Love the pics, and love it that such a young girl is interested in something that is really dominated by an older crowd-her being 12 yrs old is one thing. WOW.
I LOVE seeing kids out there doing it! They truly are the future of the sport. We have two girls who are awesome trainers in our club. Makes me sick how good they are :-p Here is a photo page I put up of Coral and Venus getting their SchH I several years ago. She has since put a II on Venus and is looking to put a III and an FH on her in the near future. Her 13 year old sister Lily, is looking to compete with her SchH III malinois at the AWMA nationals this year.
