I am in the process of making a dog first-aid kit. I have purchased two different first-aid books. For poisonings they both say to use activated charcoal slurry. The box of charcoal doesn't really give proper dosage, just to make a slurry, so I did further research and found a product on-line called Toxiban.
Can anyone tell me if they feel Toxiban is better than charcoal?
Also what exactly does a "slurry" mean?

Thank you in advance.
Toxiban is activated charcoal. I think it comes in several forms, like a liquid (suspension) and granules.
A slurry is just a thick concentration of water and the stuff you put in it.
P.S. Good idea, to make a first aid kit. You might want to put the poison hotline number on or in it, too.
