Thanks to all of you that PM'd me, and answered ?s on the board. We picked up our new little GSD girl, Cheyenne, on 06/24/07. Already I am learning her "I'm lonely" whines as opposed to her "I gotta go outside" barks. She is doing exceptionally well with housebreaking. (Or maybe I am after ordering 2 of Ed's dvds :grinShe is smarter than I am, but that really doesn't take much...
She immediately took to her drag leash, collar, and we are definitely using the crate.
My question is: Should I leave her water in the crate all of the time during the day, or give her water when she eats 3 times a day? Right now, water is unlimited in her crate. She drinks a lot! I have no problem taking her out often as I work at home. I pick it up between 7-8PM. Since it is so humid in VA, we take her out to play when it is cooler in the mornings and also evenings before she goes to bed for the night.
I hope I posted this in the right place. I am very new to this board. Thanks in advance!
None night or day.............yet. We've only had her since last Sunday afternoon. She already whines for me when I'm out of the room. Don't worry though, I am already on that one!
