I was reading the puppy menu on Mr. Frawley's site and had a question. If I feed twice a day do I feed the same total amount of food and just halve it between the two meals? I'll likely use the amounts in the article as a starting point since my pup should be around 20 lbs when he arrives. Also, is there a benefit to feeding three meals a day instead of two? I don't really have time around lunch but may be able to work something out if there is a noticeable benefit. Thanks.
Walt-(suddenly remembering that he needs to get some supplements on the way soon! plus puppy videos, plus puppy toys, plus. . . )

I think you must have been reading the adult menu. The pup menu breaks it down into three meals a day. Personally I think three meals a day is the way to go for the little guys, someone will have to let the little bugger out sometime during the day anyway.
Walt, I am with you. I ordered my toys yesterday. Last week I had a puppy panic! Don't forget paper towels and some sort of cleaner like natures miracle for spills leaks and accidents.
Ahh, the puppy years.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Well, I would use all three meat types, but the pup's belly probably won't hold all of that in two sittings(amount wise) and if you overfeed it will come out one of the ends!
Thanks for the help. I was looking at the menu again and the lunch is pretty small so it shouldn't take long. I'll hopefully be able to work it out to go 3 meals a day.
