As we approach the 4th of July and a time when people all over the world look down their nose at America you owe it to yourself to watch this video clip.
Great video, thanks for posting I really enjoyed it. My great uncle died yesterday and he was a WWII fighter pilot and this video sure makes me proud to be an American and honor the men and women in service.
Ed, thank you for posting that link. I have always loved Lee Greenwood's song. It's one of the most touching beautiful songs about our wonderful gorgeous country. The images shown on that video make me proud. Love that one of the eagle...it's what Americans are, I feel.
"I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me", including those who died to first free our country, those who first loved freedom so much to be willing to die for it. Thank you guys, all who served even from the beginning and those who serve now. We owe our freedom to your sacrifice.
What John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail: "The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. It will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated . by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of the continent to the other, from this time forward forever."
